To provide a complete seismic system, SIG has developped its own hydrophone elements to mount into the streamers, and make high resolution arrays to work with sparker and boomer systems.

The SIG 16 hydrophone streamers have small diameters of 31 mm, with a density of 1.05 on standard. The poluyrethane tubing keeps the section flexible over the years.
 
 
 
The configuration of the hydrophone arrays are customized, according to the needs of the geophysicists.

Increase the signal/noise ratio of the seismic records with a multi-channel coverage.
 
 
 
Our multi-channel streamers are dedicated to high and very high resolution seismics, with small diameter, short hydro spacings and group intervals.
 
 
 
Preamplification can be completed with a low-cut filter, depending on the energy source used.
 
 
 
The streamers are supplied neutrally buoyant, and can be ballasted to achieve the required towing depth, depending again of the emitted signal.

The seismic sound source emits an acoustic signal into the water.
 
This acoustic signal penetrates into the seabed, and is reflected at each boundary between layers that have a different acoustic impedance.

These characteristic multi-tip sound-sources have been designed and optimized for the range of energies used with the sparkers, from 25 to 5000 joules.
 
 
 
These floating spark-arrays are planar,
 
easy to handle,
 
and very light weight.
 
 
 
No need for a heavy catamaran.
 
Can be used a small boat for littoral studies, as well as on large oceanographic vessels.
 
 
 
All the models of sparker-tips are interchangeable and can be mounted on the same floating high voltage cable.

Innomar Post-Processing software
ISE
ISE is a user-friendly post-processing software for data acquired using INNOMAR's SES-2000 parametric sub-bottom profilers.
Some of the main features are layer editing and export to ASCII data, extended signal processing capabilities, data conversion and data export filters, tide, water sound velocity and GPS z-level corrections, enhanced printing modes for data presentation and the overlay of sediment probes to echoplots.
